Dr. Ruan’s research is focused on developing new drug/therapeutic interventions for vascular diseases and cancers by understanding the molecular mechanisms of NSAID-targeted biosynthesis and signaling of the highly important eicosanoids synthesized from arachidonic acid via the cyclooxygenase pathway.
