Division of Student Affairs (DSA)
Comprised of 22 departments and programs, the Division of Student Affairs supports the University's mission by providing a comprehensive array of services, programs, and activities that enhance the learning environment and development of the whole student.
Cougar Card
The Cougar Card is the official UH (University of Houston) identification and access card. It is important to carry and safeguard your Cougar Card as it is the preferred method to transact on campus. The Cougar Card is used to access academic and administrative buildings, computer labs, Campus Recreation & Wellness Center, on- and off-campus residential housing, MD Anderson Library, as well as athletic and special events. Meal plans, Cougar Cash, and ShastaBUCKS can also be used with the Cougar Card.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is here to help you on your journey to living life to the fullest. While some amount of stress, sadness, and anxiety is a normal part of life, we can find ourselves in need of a little bit of professional help to regain our balance, feel more at peace with ourselves, and feel more in control of our lives.
UH Wi-Fi Networks
The University of Houston is a Tier 1 university and we support students, faculty, staff and visitors who bring multiple devices needing Wi-Fi connectivity. UH Wi-Fi networks are robust, reliable and highly available. UIT offers a few options for your Wi-Fi needs while on our campus that serves our community as well as the numerous visitors that are here each day.
AccessUH
AccessUH is your gateway to the University of Houston's information and computing resources. Log into AccessUH with your CougarNet or myUH (PeopleSoft) UserID and password and you will get immediate access to other critical systems that you use on a daily basis.
Technology Requirements
Students must have continuous access to a computer and the Internet in order to take full advantage of the instructional delivery opportunities provided by the various nursing programs. As a result of the increasing emphasis on mobility in today’s technology marketplace, a notebook computer (laptop) is required. (See Student Policy S113)
