Moores School Percussion Ensemble I Concert: Inexorable Motion

The Moores School Percussion Ensemble presents their Spring 2025 concert, “Inexorable Motion,” featuring a program of motion-themed works for percussion ensemble. The ensemble performs new works that include Billy Childs’ The Inexorable Motion of Time, Augusta Read Thomas’ Con Moto, and David Maslanka’s epic Hurtling Through Space at an Unimaginable Speed, along with the classic octet Momentum by William Kraft. The program also features two works commissioned by and written for MSPE—Christopher Dietz’s Scatter and David Crumb’s Kinetikus.
