  UH’s Cynthia Woods-Mitchell Dance Fellow, Key’Aira Lockett was recently accepted into the 2022/2023 cohort of Midnight Oil Collective.

  Supported by mentors and advisors from four accelerator programs as well as the Yale Innovation and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, a community of diverse Artist CEOs developed the model for the Midnight Oil Collective Venture Studio for the sole purpose of supporting independent artists incubate and accelerate their projects into large scale productions. After completing MOC’s incubator program this winter, Key’Aira is to receive up to $1,000,000 in funding to produce her newest choreographic work and documentary, “[ HOME TEAM ]”.  [ HOME TEAM ] is both a live and on-screen dance production.
