External Scholarships and Fellowships
Students may find additional scholarship information at the UH Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid, the UH Graduate School or from a variety of external sources. Students are encouraged to avoid using sites or companies that charge a fee for service; however, if students choose to use these companies, first check with the Better Business Bureau about the specific company/organization.

External Programs for Graduate Students
In addition to internal university/college and federal/state based financial aid, graduate students also may pursue external sources of scholarships and fellowships to support their education expenses. Numerous non-profit foundations, public/private companies, and other organizations offer education assistance programs (exclusive of travel awards for related to scientific presentations) for which students apply directly through the organizations.
