Degree Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree
- Mathematics (24 semester hours) which must include Math 2413, 2414, 2318, 2415, 3331, 3363 or 4370, and 3364
- Chemistry (8 credit hours) which must include Chem 1111, 1112, 1311, and 1312
- Physics (42 credit hours -- 34 advanced) which must include Phys 2325, 2125, 2326, 2126, 3110, 3313, 3214, 3309, 3315, 3316, 3327, 4321, 4322, either 3312 and 3112 or 4421, and six hours advanced electives. Bachelor of Arts
- Mathematics (24 credit hours – nine advanced) including Math 2413, 2414, 2318, 2415, and 3331
- Chemistry (8 credit hours) must be Chem 1111, 1112, 1311, and 1312
- Physics (31 credit hours – 23 advanced) must include Phys 2325, 2125, 2326, 2126, 3110, and 3315. Advanced courses must include 3313, and either 3312 and 3112 or 4421
Minor
To satisfy the requirements for a physics minor, 17 credit hours of physics is needed (9 advanced) which must include: Phys 2325, 2125, 2326, 2126, and 3315. No Independent Study, Senior Research Project, or Honors Thesis courses may be used to meet the 9 advanced hours requirement.
