What is the Meet and Greet?: This event is for all Undergraduate Math Majors, including Mathematical Biology, Math Graduate students, Departmental Faculty and Staff. The purpose of this social is to create a pleasant and comfortable environment among faculty and students.
This year we have multiple speakers that will present at the event. Ms. Deena Morgan, VP of Gexa Energy, will discuss how mathematics influenced her career path. Teachhouston will also have a presentation about its program and the academic resources and funding it has to offer. The presentation session will be from 3:00-3:45pm. The remainder of the event will commence afterward.
