UH applicants interested in getting certified as a principal, superintendent or educational diagnostician in Texas must complete a brief supplemental application, in addition to the main ApplyWeb application. For the supplemental application, please select your program of interest and term below; note that not all programs are offered every term. 

Applicants will need to upload the following supplemental documentation: 

• All: Educator certificate (print to PDF from your TEAL account or via the SBEC search)  
• Principal and Educational Diagnostician only: District service record

• M.Ed. in Special Populations – Educational Diagnostician Certification 

Summer 2026

• Accelerated Educational Diagnostician Certification

• Ed.D. in Professional Leadership – K–12 with Superintendent Certification
• M.Ed. in Administration & Supervision with Principal Certification
