The University of Houston Adaptive tennis program is ranked #1 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. With the securing of the first national Wheelchair Tennis Championship, we offer not only elite tennis training but great academics as well.

What is Adaptive Tennis?

Adaptive tennis is played on a regulation court with the single modification of each player gets two bounces of the ball before it has to be hit instead of one. This program promotes the highest standards of Sportsmanship and conduct, while developing students’ leadership and interpersonal skills through the sport of tennis.
