Research:
Dementia is a chronic or persistent disorder of the mental processes caused by brain disease or injury and marked by memory disorders, personality changes, and impaired reasoning. Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia. Dr. Eriksen's research interests are centered around the discovery of basic mechanisms and translational research for Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
