MISSION OF THE INSTITUTIONAL COMPLIANCE AND ETHICS PROGRAM

To promote and support a culture at the University of Houston which builds compliance consciousness into the daily activities of the University and encourages all employees to conduct University business with honesty and integrity.

  • Ethics (http://www.uh.edu/compliance/ethics/): University employees are expected to carry out their responsibilities in an ethical manner, complying with federal, state and other applicable laws and regulations, consistent with Board of Regents policies, and without conflicts of interest. SAM 02.A.29 sets forth expectations for UH employees regarding Ethical Conduct of Employees. The Code of Ethics established by Board of Regents policy also addresses ethical conduct expected of UH employees. See BOR 57.01.

  

  • Current Compliance Reports (https://uh.edu/police/records-reports/annualreport/): Current Compliance Reports include the Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report as required by Title 20 U.S.C. 1092(f), also known as the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the safety and security audit required by Section 51.217 of the Texas Education Code.
