She, along with her team, continued to provide patient care, implement a telemedicine platform, and open a satellite clinic in the Fort Bend area all in the first year of the pandemic.
In 2021, Arora, wanting to be part of an organization that makes a greater impact in the community, began working in Houston Methodist’s Community Benefits department where she oversaw the Community Scholars program. She onboarded additional specialties, improved communications with physicians and community partners, and standardized its inner workings. During her time at Houston Methodist, she also provided research, content, and knowledge towards the system’s community health needs assessment and oversaw other programs related to community clinic partners.
