College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)
University of Houston students interested in registering for the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) should:
Consult with their academic advisor if students are attempting to earn course credit through this program.
Review the Credit by Examination page for the list of courses for which credit may be awarded.

Fee: The fee typically includes two fees: a test proctoring fee of $25 payable to UH when you schedule a test date and a CLEP fee of $93.00 which must be paid on the Register for an Exam – CLEP | College Board prior to your testing appointment.

Notes:
- Students must use the UH Code: 6870 for CLEP scores to be sent to the University of Houston.
- To have CLEP test scores evaluated for possible course credit please email ets@ uh.edu .
- Explore each CLEP exam topic before you register to make sure you're taking the appropriate exam.
- You can take the test remotely at home
