Retail, Auxiliary, and Dining (RAD) Center
The RAD Center’s Phase II is complete, and all six food concepts are open! We are located at the site of the old Satellite building, near the Science & Research Building 2 and the Jack J. Valenti School of Communication.
Come and enjoy the tasty offerings from:
- Absurd Bird (chicken tenders)
- Paper Lantern (Asian grill)
- RAD Market
- The Burger Joint (hand-crafted burgers)
- The Nook Café (coffee, pastries and more)
- The Taco Stand (authentic tacos, burritos and more)
During the Fall and Spring semesters, RAD Market, The Nook Cafe, and The Taco Stand are open for breakfast. Days and hours of operation vary, so please check here for current information.
The RAD Center is a 41,000-square-foot facility which opened Phase I in Spring 2024. The two-story building features 400 guest seats, including outdoor patio seating on both floors, where you can enjoy views of the beautiful greenery on campus while you dine.
Phase III
The third and final phase of the RAD Center is scheduled for construction in Summer 2025, with a planned opening for Fall 2025. Phase III will include:
- Auxiliary Services administrative offices
- Cougar Card Office (currently located in the Welcome Center)
- A 60-person multi-purpose room which will be available for rent (details TBD)
- A reflection room
- A satellite delivery services office
